Canvas Art - Frame It Too!

Don't leave your canvas art naked on your walls!

Canvas art and photos seem more and more popular these days. And most people don't know that it is possible, and sometimes preferable, to frame your canvases.

FanAddict Frames can help guide you through the process. We can show you different styles, looks and feels for your art. We can even take care of the canvas printing for you. Call or email today!

Here are some of our recent framed canvases:

The moulding is a 3" black and this frame features a black linen liner.

A close up of the linen liner - it functions as matboard would, creates space between the moulding and art.

This 3" mahogany scoop moulding looks stunning on this cityscape canvas.  The owner opted for traditional double matboard instead of linen liner.

A close up of the mahogany scoop. It's gorgeous!

The moulding for this one is the same as the top photo... It is a 3" black. And the owner again opted for double matboard.

There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to choosing how to show off your canvases. The three pictured here were taken off the stretcher bar. And we used traditional frame mouldings. All three canvases are without any glazing.

Just before Christmas we framed a large canvas photograph for a client. This canvas photo was stretched over stretcher bar and then framed. Because of its size and the look our client was going for, we double stacked two mouldings and did not use either matboard or a liner.

The outer moulding is the same as the cityscape canvas from above.

Sorry, I didn't have a place big enough to hang this - so the pic's on its side.

Hopefully this gives you a new perspective on canvas. Call or email us if you have any questions or would like to discuss a particular piece.

Thanks! Have a lovely day!
